One of the most discussed topics in the world is the Coronavirus disease, commonly known as COVID-19. There are significant concerns around the globe how the virus will impact various societies. As the virus has reached a pandemic level, many nations’ concerns regarding the impact on social systems are quickly growing. As nations become overwhelmed with fear of the novel virus, stigmatization towards individuals has been invited into many communities. Leadership, however, has failed to respond to the disease hence the global spread. The paper discusses the impact of inefficient leadership in countering the Coronavirus disease pandemic.

The main challenge in controlling the spread of the disease entails ineffective headship both in the political and healthcare systems. The ideal period to study the efficiency of the administration is scrutinizing how our heads, both in the health and government system, handle the disaster like the one originating from Covid-19 (Mossa-Basha et al. 9). Presently, leaders around the globe have come up with strategies to control the multiplication of the contagious disease. They are aggressively carrying out two roles by making the citizens aware of the forthcoming risks and evading the agitation that may lead to fear of keeping in mind the amount of information about the virus in social media. Despite the detection of the virus in late 2019, the majority of the global leaders did not sufficiently prepare for the crisis until it spreads to almost all the nations of the globe (Remuzzi 5). Therefore, ineffective headship can severely affect nations during the time of disaster.

The present healthcare and political systems headship are not efficient and has been associated with the unmanageable spread of the virus around the globe. With the rapid spread of the infection, both political and healthcare leaders have been branded inefficient. The World Health Organization has declared the virus a global threat (World Health Organization 3). Ineffective leadership has been a rigorous test facing different nations. The pandemic has affected services across all fields, making people fail to achieve their potential in the year 2020. Political leaders need to approve practical response and measures to the threatening crisis to avoid disaster altogether.

The study has demonstrated that their ineffective leadership can harmfully impact the reaction pace in an era of catastrophe, as freshly practical in the COVID-19 pandemic distressing the whole (Phelan et al. 709). The big number of new infections and deaths shows no uncertainty the pessimistic impact of inadequate response and leadership. Ultimately, health symbolizes a nation’s ability to provide support and care to individuals within its societies. Moreover, we must look after ourselves and each other in order to maintain a functioning society.  Accordingly, flattening the curve is critical to maintaining the function of health care systems. To decrease the spread of the virus, the organization must collectively engage in social distancing. This allows the infection to spread at a slower pace resulting in fewer cases. If health care systems don’t become overwhelmed, more patients will have access to treatment, resulting in the recovery of society’s health. Therefore, leaders ought to adopt leaders to practical leadership style in dealing with the ongoing crisis.
