While the field of Mentastics is still relatively new, there is growing scientific evidence to support the effectiveness of Mentastic practices in promoting mental wellness. Studies have found that mindfulness meditation, yoga, and other embodied techniques can help reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression, improve mood, and promote overall well-being. For example, one study found that practicing mindfulness meditation for just 10 minutes a day was associated with a reduction in symptoms of anxiety and depression over eight weeks. Another study found that practicing yoga was associated with improved mood and reduced perceived stress levels. While more research is needed to fully understand the effectiveness of Mentastic practices, the growing body of evidence suggests that these techniques can be valuable for promoting mental wellness and building resilience.
